WHM visas: Work limitation exemption extended to 30 June 2023; Visa processing backlog reduced

The work limitation exemption for all working holiday makers (subclass 417 – Working Holiday visas and subclass 462 – Work and Holiday visas) that allows visa holders to work for any one employer for more than 6 months will end on 30 June 2023. The visa backlog has been cut to 600,000 on-hand applications, down from 1 million.
