DIBP backtracks on retroactive English language exemptions, FFA concerned

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection backtracks on the retrospective application of abolishing the high-salary exemption for Subclass 186 - Employer Nomination Scheme and Subclass 187 - Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visas. Other organisations, such as Football Federation Australia, say this is not enough.

Occupation lists for many skilled visas are split into separate lists. The high salary exemption for Subclass 186 - Employer Nomination Scheme and Subclass 187 - Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visas is removed, meaning some applicants will be doomed.
