A recent news article from the Department of Home Affairs confirms that the subclass 186 visa under the Temporary Residence Transition stream will be opened to all applicants from 25 November 2023, as well as existing applications not finally determined. Subclass 482 visa holders in the Short-term stream will be able to another visa without leaving Australia from 25 November 2023.
