Student visa holder supermarket employees to be able to work beyond 40 hours per fortnight

While the effects of coronavirus do not appear to be subsiding, one group of people may find some benefit: international student employed by major supermarkets. This is because the acting Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs announced today that existing employees of major supermarket chains will be able to work beyond 40 hours per fortnight to help keep shelves stocked with panic-buying essentials.
