There were three firm outcomes from last week’s Jobs and Skills Summit relating to Australia’s immigration program: an increase in permanent migration places for this program year with an emphasis on regional and state and territory nominated visas, an increase of two years to 485 visas for certain degree qualified graduates, and more resources for visa processing.
